Product FAQ

Common questions about our filters

What types of commercial air filters do you stock?

Six filter lines: standard panel filters (MERV 4–8), pleated filters (MERV 8–13), high-capacity filters (MERV 8–11), high-efficiency filters (MERV 13–16), true HEPA filters (99.97% capture at 0.3 microns), and custom-cut filters sized to your exact spec.

What MERV rating does my building need?

As a rule of thumb: MERV 4–8 for offices and light commercial buildings, MERV 8–13 for schools, municipal buildings, and occupied public spaces, high-capacity MERV 8–11 for heavy-dust industrial facilities like rice mills and cement plants, MERV 13–16 for healthcare and clean spaces, and HEPA for critical environments. Every system is different, so call us and we will spec yours.

What is the difference between HEPA and MERV-rated filters?

HEPA sits above the MERV 16 scale, capturing 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns, including viruses and sub-micron particles. We supply true HEPA, not "HEPA-type" media, for surgical suites, labs, and anywhere sub-micron control is non-negotiable.

Do you carry odd or non-standard filter sizes?

Yes. We cut filters in-house to your exact dimensions, across every media line from standard panel through HEPA, so every unit gets a proper fit with no gaps and no air bypass. Send us the dimensions or we measure on-site.

Are your filters in stock and ready to ship?

We stock all common sizes from multiple manufacturers for immediate delivery, with custom sizes cut in-house to spec. Call (916) 348-9595 to check stock on a specific size.
